Karma’s Cavaliers Chocolate Puppies

Occasionally I will have chocolate puppies. If you look back at Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in history, they were not just the four colors we have today. There were chocolate, black, and black and white Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.

The ONLY thing different about a chocolate Cavalier King Charles Spaniel vs. standard color is a color gene. It has absolutely nothing to do with health at all.

You can register a chocolate Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with AKC, but you cannot show them. Why? Not sure. Hopefully one day all colors will be included.
